Rye Cove Intermediate School is located in Scott County, Virginia. We are a fifth through seventh grade Title I school. Our school is fully accredited and serves approximately 190 students. Duffield Primary School serves as our elementary school, and students continue their education at Rye Cove High School. Rye Cove Intermediate School was selected as the recipient of the 2008 Governor's Award for Excellence and as a Distinguished Title I School from 2007-2010.
